Biography:

Valérie Keppenne is a 5th year dual-title Ph.D. student in German Linguistics and Language Science. Her research interests revolve around adult second language (L2) acquisition of morphosyntax as well as L2 learning mechanisms, which she has been investigating using a range of methodologies from psycho- and neurolinguistics. In addition, she is also interested in the pedagogical implications of her research. Besides doing research, Valérie has also taught a range of lower- and upper-level German language classes, both in traditional face-to-face environments as well as remote.
