Yasemin Mohammed accepts tenure-track position at the University of Iowa

Yasemin Mohammed has accepted a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of German in the Department of German at the University of Iowa. She earned her doctoral degree in German from Penn State in 2012 and currently has a postdoctoral teaching position in the Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures. The title of her dissertation is “Dissident Stories of Travel and Displancement: Middle Easter Heritage German Writers’ Interventions in the Nationalist Imagination.”
