Ashley Roccamo receives a dissertation grant from Language Learning

Ashley Roccamo has received grants from both the College of Liberal Arts and from the journalLanguage Learning to help fund her dissertation research. In her dissertation, Ashley will investigate the efficacy of pronunciation training in first- and fourth-semester German courses, with the goal of improving pronunciation training in the foreign language classroom and identifying the optimal time for targeted instruction on second language pronunciation.
