Lindsey is a first-year Ph.D. student in Germanic Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. She graduated with a B.S. in Integrative Neuroscience from Fordham University in 2024. While there, she used EEG to research grammatical gender and semantic processing in Second Language Acquisition (SLA) in English-French bilinguals. After graduating, she worked at Hebrew SeniorLife using transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) to help older adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI).

Her research interests lie primarily in older adults with aphasia who are also bilingual. At Penn State, she plans to explore how the mental lexicon and word retrieval are affected in this population
