Sigrid Jenny Wilson is a Ph.D. student in German Literature and Culture and Visual Studies. She holds a B.A. in German Language and Literature from New York University and an M.A. in English from the University at Albany, SUNY.

Her research investigates how twentieth- and twenty-first-century German literature and visual media render invisible forms of experience, such as belonging, memory, perception, and interiority, legible through representations of space, atmosphere, and material culture.

Wilson is a 2026–2027 Public Humanities Fellow, a program that supports community-engaged humanities scholarship. As part of the fellowship, she is developing a creative writing workshop in partnership with military veterans. She has designed and taught university courses in creative writing, contemporary fiction, academic writing, and business writing, and currently teaches German language courses at Penn State.
