Jenny earned a BA in German Literature and Urban Design & Architecture Studies from New York University and an MA in English Literature from the University at Albany. Her research examines spatial narrativity, analyzing how shifting social and cultural contexts shape the material and metaphysical experience of space in literature. Before joining Penn State, she worked in the technology sector as a business analyst and project manager and taught creative writing, business writing, and English literature.
