Biography:

Svetlana is a first year Ph.D. student in German Literature and Visual Studies. She earned her MA and BA degrees from Moscow State Regional University and is a recipient of the Fulbright scholarship (FLTA 2023-24) as well as multiple grants from the Goethe-Institut. Before joining Penn State, she worked as a language instructor for English, German, and Russian at various educational institutions. Her research interests include migrant literature and sound studies.
