Adam J. Toth is a doctoral candidate and graduate instructor of German, with an emphasis on literature and culture at Penn State. His dissertation focuses on Orientalisms in the works of Franz Kafka. Additional research interests include Twentieth Century German Literature, Translation Studies, German Drama and Theater, and Studies in Gender, Sexuality, and Kinship. He previously served as the coordinator for the Penn State German Film Series and studied for an academic year at the Phillips University in Marburg, Germany. He is currently teaching GER 201 and TAing in GER 100.
